Columbus County Industrial Golf Tournament

Golfers from across the area are invited to participate in the 38th  Annual Columbus County Industrial Golf Tournament, hosted by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

Co-chairing this year’s event are Danny McNeill, Baldwin Woods Pharmacy and Meredith Jackson of BB&T.  They remind players that the industrial tournament’s goal has been to bring business, community, and industry leaders together in an informal setting for a day of fun and fellowship.  It is also an important fundraiser supporting the many worthwhile projects of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

The Captain’s Choice tournament will begin with registration and lunch at 11:00 am, followed by a shot-gun start at 12:00 noon.  The tournament is limited to the first 120 golfers registered.  The entry fee of $60 includes green and cart fees, free range balls, lunch, a social hour, a golf towel and dinner.  Team prizes and several outstanding door prizes will be awarded.  Teams are flighted based on their final score.
 
There are lots of options to make the day’s play even more fun.  Players can opt for a mulligan, red tee, chance to win $200 cash in the EDC’s Putting Contest  or win $200 in the Baldwin Woods Chipping Contest  for $5 each or bundle all 4 for only $15.  Sponsors of the tournament include:  Columbus Regional Healthcare, Duke Energy, BB&T, Baldwin Woods Pharmacy, Columbus Jobs Foundation, Joe’s BBQ, Columbus County Farm Bureau, CopyPro, Floyd’s Insurance, Inspire Creative, International Paper, First Citizens Bank, McDuffie Pest Control, and S.
